BCREGMED would like to welcome Edwin Gershom who joined us in December in the role of Manager, Partnerships and Innovation. He will be located in the BRC building. His position is co-funded by CCRM and UBC and he will be responsible for supporting industry partnerships in BME (including our co-op program), for developing an asset map for the BCRegMed cluster, and for the formation and growth of CCRM’s Western Hub.Edwin has over six years of experience working with early stage biotech startups at the intersection of science and business, strategizing product and business development, raising capital and partnering with researchers, clinicians and business leaders. He has successfully managed preclinical and clinical development of therapeutics in immunology and hematology with multiple collaborations and in compliance with regulations. |
