Remember Dr. Glen Tibbits
IN MEMORIAM It is with great sadness that we announce our cherished member of the BCREGMED steering committee, Dr. Glen Tibbits of Port Moody, BC, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 76, following a three-year battle with ALS. He was widely respected as an accomplished scientist, dedicated educator, and generous mentor whose influence extended well beyond his own research program. Dr. Tibbits was a Distinguished Professor at Simon Fraser University, with joint appointments in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, and in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
