DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Single Cell Spatial Transcriptomics \nWorkshop Dates: July 15th – 16th \, 2025\nTime: 9am-4pm.\nLocation: Room 101\, Michael Smith Laboratories @ UBC \nThis two-day workshop will introduce participants to image-based single cell spatial transcriptomics experiments from initial planning to final analysis with lectures and practical sessions. The focus will be on the analysis of 10X Genomics Xenium datasets\, but concepts and methodologies will be applicable to a variety of other single cell spatial transcriptomics technologies. Over the course of the two-day workshop participants will be able to: \n– Understand practical issues regarding tissue preparation\n–  Design an optimized gene panel\n– Perform data clean-up and pre-processing\n– Understand and apply basic cell segmentation methods\n– Understand and implement spatial analysis with community tools \nRegistration is now closed.
